Feedback from the Cherry Orchard performance:

Self observation-

I felt that I have progressed from first getting the script was that it was very confusing and that I didn’t understand it at first, however we as a group decided to get up and start working on it, everything began to fall into place. I got comfortable with my character and the people that I had to work with. First I worked on, on stage chemistry as a lot of my lines was with my “big sister”. So I need chemistry with her which was gained very quickly.

The cherry orchard by Chekhov is a play about pride and the Ability to come to terms with change one’s past. Three of the main characters have certain strengths and weaknesses which contribute to the action of the play. The route of their values can be traced back to pride and whether they move on with their lives or lie down and die depends on how they deal with their pas ability to come to terms with change one’s past. My group feedback:

 General notes:

  •  We was all very good at the performance and made our own. We have a good  working relations.
  •  Each piece we did with very different even though some of us did the same plays.
  •  Putting yourself into the character and giving it your all. We all ticking the boxes and more.
Stuff to do:
Go watch some live plays, so that we can pick up the subleties.( play  around of the words.)

My own notes:

Good listening and reacting. Really strong good commitment to the piece. Was able to learn the lines fast.
